Craving a pumpkin treat? We don’t blame you!
Nothing feels cozier than pumpkin bread fresh from the oven, perfect for dessert, a snack, or even breakfast. Our pumpkin bread recipe will make your home smell so good, your neighbors might try to move in. Best of all, it requires little skill! Just set aside about 15 minutes of prep, and after 45 minutes of baking you’ll be embodying a spiced candle and queuing up a Gilmore Girls marathon.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups pumpkin puree
¼ cup neutral oil- avocado, canola, or vegetable
¼ cup butter
⅔ cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup sour cream
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt

Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter. Add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well with a whisk.
- Add both sugars and mix well.
- Add the baking powder and baking soda, spices and salt and mix well.
- Add the flour and fold in gently with a spatula until just combined.
- Pour into a greased standard size bread pan and bake for 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool. Enjoy!

Twin tip: To see if the bread is finished baking, tap the top of the loaf. If your finger sinks in, the bread is not finished, if the bread is bouncy, it’s done!
